PBC Visitation Ministry
The Pioneer Baptist Church visitation ministry has been visiting homes throughout the Lewis-Clark Valley since 1990. Today, the door-to-door visitation ministry is one of the major battlefields and rally points for church members. On average 15 members of the youth group, along with various adults, pass out tracts and Bibles and share the gospel. Below are results from a survey that is often used by our visitation team as a conversation starter.

5% don't believe in God


85% believe God inspired the Bible
6% believe God didn't inspire the Bible
9% say some of the Bible is inspired by God


87% believe in both heaven and hell
13% believe only heaven exists


49% believe faith in Christ is why they will go to heaven
11% believe they will go to heaven because they're a good person
9% believe they will go to heaven for their good works
32% believe it takes a combination of the three things above to go to heaven


28% say they are Catholic
23% say they are Baptist
15% say they are Pentecostal
15% say they are non-denominational
8% say they are Mormon
8% say they are Presbyterian
7% say they are Methodist
6% say they are Nazarene
4% say they are Protestant
3% say they are Seventh-Day Adventist
1% say they are Jehovah's Witnesses
1% say they are Episcopalian


53% believe in the Bible's 6-day creation
7% believe only in the Theory of Evolution
