One reason why people decide to not
believe the Bible and what is says about heaven, hell,
salvation, etc. is the notion that there are natives in
remote parts of the world who have never read a Bible
and have never heard anyone mention Christ,. So, by
their logic, for the natives to die and go to hell is
unfair.
People hung up on this idea have,
probably, never thoroughly studied the Bible to find an
answer for this—maybe because such people like to have an
excuse or reason not to believe in a God that judges
people for sin. The answer is simple.
Everyone is born into this world
with the knowledge that there is a God.
Psa. 19:1-3 "The heavens declare
the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his
handwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto
night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor
language, where their voice is not heard."
John 1:9 "That was the true Light [Jesus], which
lighteth every man that cometh into the world."
Rom. 1:19-20 "Because that which may be known of
God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto
them. For the invisible thing of him from the creation
of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the
things that are made, even his eternal power and
God-head; so that they are without excuse."
Whether you are in Zimbabwe, Lewiston,
Idaho, or anywhere else, you have to choose to seek the
truth—to seek God. If a person is seeking, God will send
him/her the answer. It takes faith to seek though. Both
a pastor’s son in the US and the son of a native in
Nigeria must have enough faith to seek and believe in
something they cannot see.
Heb. 11:6 "But without faith it
is impossible to please him [God]: for he that cometh to
God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder
of them that diligently seek him."
Matt. 7:7-8 "Ask, and it shall be given unto you;
seek, and ye shall find... For everyone that asketh
receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth…"
Acts 17:30 "And the times of this ignorance God
winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to
repent:"
