 Homosexuality
Summary: Homosexuality is a choice, and it
is a choice to sin. There is no DNA evidence
to support the claim that sodomy is a genetically inherited trait.
Homosexuality is simply
a perverted sin that drags people away from God. Like anyone else living
in a sinful lifestyle
(e.g. drunkard, adulterer, fornicator, etc.), homosexuals need to seek
God and turn from
their wicked and unnatural ways.

Rom. 1:25-31
"Who
changed the truth of God into a lie, and
worshipped and served the creature more than
the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile
affections: for even their women did
change the natural use into that which is
against nature: And likewise also the men,
leaving the natural use of the woman, burned
in their lust one toward another; men with
men working that which is unseemly, and
receiving in themselves that recompence of
their error which was meet. And even as
they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate
mind, to do those things which are not
convenient; Being filled with all
unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy,
murder, debate, deceit, malignity;
whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God,
despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of
evil things, disobedient to parents, Without
understanding, covenantbreakers, without
natural affection, implacable,
unmerciful:"
The passage above references the fact
that God has established judgments for
perverted actions on earth. Sexually
transmitted diseases such as HIV and AIDS
are "that recompence of their error which
was meet." One of the saddest facts
about this topic is the Biblical concept
that
"For none of us liveth to himself, and no
man dieth to himself" (Rom. 14:7)... In
other words, kids sometimes end-up with a
disease because of perverted adults.
The Bible is more than clear that
homosexuality is sin, and that individuals
who live the homosexual lifestyle are
unsaved and bound for hell.
I Cor. 6:9-10
"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not
inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived:
neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor
adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers
of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves,
nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers,
nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom
of God."
One of the major reasons for God's judgment
of fire and brimstone upon the cities of
Sodom and Gomorrah was because of
homosexuality and perversion.
Gen. 19:5-8
"And they called unto Lot, and said unto
him, Where are the men which came in to thee
this night? bring them out unto us, that we
may know them.
And Lot went out at the door unto them, and
shut the door after him, And said, I pray
you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
Behold now, I have two daughters which have
not known man; let me, I pray you, bring
them out unto you, and do ye to them as is
good in your eyes: only unto these men do
nothing; for therefore came they under the
shadow of my roof.
"
In the Old Testament of the Bible, for
the physical and spiritual wellbeing of the
tribe of Israel, God commanded that
whosoever committed sodomy should be put to
death. In the New Testament, it is still
written that sodomy is sin, but Jesus, God
in the flesh, commands that only people who
are sinless, which is nobody on earth,
should cast stones to kill people.
Lev. 20:13 "If
a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth
with a woman, both of them have committed an
abomination: they shall surely be put to
death; their blood shall be upon them."
To clarify what may be misconstrued, two
things should be noted when reading the
verse above: 1) Sodomy is a sin that God is
shown to hate in both the Old and New
testament, and 2) Christ taught that
Christians should not take vengeance into
their own hands.
Oh, and just as a side note... Often the
argument is used that because sometimes
animals display homosexual actions in nature
that it must be natural for humans to
display homosexuals actions as well. To
answer this point, please consider the fact
that there are a lot of things that animals
do that humans should not do--for example,
female black widow spiders eat their mates,
monkeys fling feces, dogs urinate on trees,
birds regurgitate food to feed chicks, etc.
Just because an animal does something does
not mean it is normal, natural, and moral
for a human to do it.
But if
homosexuality is a choice, why would anyone
ever choose it?
To answer this often asked
question, think about these questions: Why
do some people molest children, and is it
right or wrong to molest children?... The
answer to why people choose to be
homosexuals and why people choose to molest
children is simple: people are depraved and
perverted. Simply because someone acts on a
perverted inclination does not make the
inclination natural or moral. The acts
of paedophilia and sodomy are wrong, unnatural,
and contrary to the teachings of the Bible
and God. |
