Besides such facts as: 1) no legitimate intermediate
species between apes and upright man have
ever been found, 2) life has never
evolved from non-living matter (even in the
most controlled and advanced laboratories),
and 3) the geological column does not exist
outside of a textbook (just to name a
few facts), the theory of evolution is also
contrary to some of the most solid
scientific laws known to mankind.
First Law of Thermodynamics:
"Energy can be
transformed (changed from one form to
another), but it can neither be created nor
destroyed."
Considering that matter cannot be
created... How is it that the world began?
What exploded in the "big bang"? The Bible
teaches that a Creator spoke the world
(matter) into existence.
Second Law of Thermodynamics: This
law is also known as the universal law of
entropy which explains that everything
decays over time. Everything gradually gets
worse, and nothing gets better.
Quite oppositely, the theory of evolution and the idea of
survival of the fittest describes a process
by which things improve over time. For
instance, unneeded and
unused traits become extinct while needed
and useful traits such as the eyeball evolve. The Bible, as show
in the verse below, is compatible with the
idea of entropy.
Psalm 102:25-26 "Of
old hast thou laid the foundation of the
earth: and the heavens are the work of thy
hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt
endure: yea, all of them shall wax old
like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou
change them, and they shall be changed:"
The Law of Cause and Effect: This law
states that for every effect, there has to
be a cause.
What caused the Big Bang, or what caused
the elements of the Big Bang to form in the
manner they did?
The Law of Biogenesis: This law declares
that life comes only from life.
The theory of evolution calls for, at
some point or another, life evolving from
non-living matter.
The Law of
Conservation of Angular Momentum: This
law describes the tendency of a spinning
object to continue spinning in the same
direction.
The Big Bang Theory explains that a spinning
cosmic explosion started the process of
evolution. If the Big Bang Theory were true,
all of the planets should be spinning in the
same direction today. However, Venus,
Uranus, and eight moons, have the opposite
rotation of the other planets. Also,
Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune have moons
orbiting in both directions.

Mathematical Theories of Probability: The
mathematical chance of something actually
happening--the odds.
The odds that the theory of evolution
actually happened and created the world
we see around us to day is such a
staggeringly large number that it would not
fit on this webpage. The human eyeball alone
is millions of times more complex than
anything man has ever to created, and to
believe that the eyeball arrived by chance
is like suggesting that the Empire State
Building appeared in New York randomly and
that it did not have a builder.
Hebrews 3:4 "For every house
is builded by some man; but he that built
all things is God."
Each building has a builder. Buildings do
not appear by chance. Each human has a
creator. Humans, which are a million times
more complex than a building, do not appear
by chance.
We encourage evolutionists and
creationists alike to visit Creation Science
Evangelism's website
www.drdino.com and read the articles
there.
www.drdino.com does a fantastic job of
showing the scientific inconsistencies of
the theory of evolution and how true science is in harmony with what the Bible
says. Note: Pioneer Baptist Church
does not entirely agree with all of the
doctrinal beliefs held by Creation Science
Evangelism and
www.drdino.com, but it does,
wholeheartedly, agree with and use CSE's
research and stance on evolution and
creation. |

The entire Bible alludes to and
references the idea that God created the
world in six days and that humans were alive
at the very beginning...
Genesis 1:1 "In
the beginning
God created the heaven and the earth."
Exodus 20:11 "in
six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the
sea, and all that in them is, and rested the
seventh day..."
The Bible says God formed man of the dust
of the ground and gave him a living soul.
The Bible does not say that God formed man
via evolving apes.
Genesis 2:7 "And
the LORD God formed man of the dust of the
ground, and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life; and man became a living
soul."
Genesis 3:19 "In the sweat of thy
face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return
unto the ground; for out of it wast thou
taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust
shalt thou return."
Note: Some may argue that the two verses
directly above describe the evolutionary
process, however if that were true, then,
according to Gen. 3:19, soon we will start
evolving back into apes and then back into
dirt.
From the very beginning God made male and
female. Gender does not evolve, according to
the theory of evolution, until long after the
big bang.
Genesis 5:2 "Male and female created
he them; and blessed them, and called their
name Adam, in the day when they were
created."
Matthew 19:4 "And
he answered and said unto them, Have ye not
read, that he which made them at the
beginning made them male and female,"
Mark 10:6 "But from the beginning of
the creation God made them male and female."
The Bible says that everything you see
today was made from things that you cannot
see. According to evolution you can see what
humans evolved from--apes.
Hebrews 11:3 "...Through faith we
understand that the worlds were framed by
the word of God, so that things which are
seen were not made of things which do
appear."
The Bible also says that Eve was the
mother of all living.
Genesis 3:20 "And Adam called his
wife's name Eve; because she was the mother
of all living."
If the reason God created earth was to have
humans glorify Him, why would he use
evolution and wait billions of years for
humans to arrive on the scene?
Revelation 4:11 "Thou art worthy, O
Lord, to receive glory and honour and power:
for thou hast created all things, and for
thy pleasure they are and were created."
Psalm 148:1-5
"Praise ye the
LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens:
praise him in the heights. Praise ye him,
all his angels: praise ye him, all his
hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise
him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye
heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be
above the heavens. Let them praise the name
of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were
created."
The verse in Psalm 148 says that he
commanded and all those things were created.
It does not say that he commanded, waited
billions of years, and then they were
created.
One argument against the six-day creation is
the day-age theory which holds that the six creation "days"
were actually long periods of time--not 24
hour days. II Peter 3:8 is often used a
proof text for this claim. However, the pattern of the Bible
shows that whenever a number is attached to
the word "day" that the word is referring to
a common day. Also, the creation account
specifically says that the creation days had
an evening and a morning. Why would God
confuse us by writing a Bible that leads us
to think of the days as actual days when
they were, as alleged by some, billions or
millions of years?
Genesis 1:13 "And the evening and
the morning were the third day."
Jesus seemed to think that the word "day"
meant a time period of hours.
John 11:9 "Jesus answered, Are there
not twelve hours in the day?"
If the days were not literal, how
would the plants survive for millions or
billions of years without sunlight?
On the third day God made the plants (Gen.
1:11-13), and on the the fourth day he
made the sun (Gen. 1:14-19).
Also, if the first six days do represent
billions of years, did God sit around and
twiddle his thumbs for another billion years
when he rested on the seventh day?
Other people believe in what is called the
gap theory. This theory holds that between
Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 is a humongous
gap that fits billions of year,
macro-evolution, and Darwin's theory into
it.
The following two points combat the gap
theory.
The theory of evolution claims that
dinosaurs were extinct long before modern
man evolved, yet the Bible says that Job
lived alongside dinosaurs.
Job 40:15-24 "Behold now behemoth,
which I made with thee; he eateth grass as
an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins,
and his force is in the navel of his belly.
He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews
of his stones are wrapped together. His
bones are as strong pieces of brass; his
bones are like bars of iron. He is the chief
of the ways of God: he that made him can
make his sword to approach unto him. Surely
the mountains bring him forth food, where
all the beasts of the field play. He lieth
under the shady trees, in the covert of the
reed, and fens. The shady trees cover him
with their shadow; the willows of the brook
compass him about. Behold, he drinketh up a
river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he
can draw up Jordan into his mouth. He taketh
it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through
snares."
Job 41:1-29 "Canst thou draw out
leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a
cord which thou lettest down? Canst thou put
an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw
through with a thorn?... Who can open the
doors of his face? his teeth are terrible
round about. His scales are his pride, shut
up together as with a close seal. One is so
near to another, that no air can come
between them. They are joined one to
another, they stick together, that they
cannot be sundered. By his neesings a light
doth shine, and his eyes are like the
eyelids of the morning. Out of his mouth go
burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a
seething pot or caldron. His breath kindleth
coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth...
He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as
rotten wood. The arrow cannot make him flee:
slingstones are turned with him into
stubble. Darts are counted as stubble: he
laugheth at the shaking of a spear."
A final answer to any theory that tries
to make the Bible and evolution coincide is
the concept of sin. The Bible clearly states
that because of Adam's sin, death entered
the world as a punishment for sin. Up until
Adam's sin, the Garden of Eden was an
atmosphere without pain, sorrow, or death.
Theistic evolutionists have to forget about
the Bible's concept of sin and death to
believe that for billions of years before
Adam there was death, pain, and the
evolutionary process going on.
Romans 5:12 "Wherefore,
as by one man sin entered into the world,
and death by sin; and so death passed upon
all men, for that all have sinned:"
II Peter 3:4 "And saying, Where is
the promise of his coming? for since the
fathers fell asleep, all things continue as
they were from the beginning of the
creation."
God did not use millions of years to
create the world. God created the world in
six days. Don't put your faith in the
unproven, improbable, ignorant,
scientifically problematic idea founded by
Darwin. Put your faith in the Bible which
has been proven to be scientifically and
historically accurate over and over. There
are no proven errors in the Bible--this
cannot be said for the theory of evolution.
Jer. 26:27
"Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and
to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for
they have turned their back unto me, and not
their face: but in the time of their trouble
they will say, Arise, and save us."
I Timothy 6:20
"O Timothy, keep that which is committed to
thy trust, avoiding profane and vain
babblings, and oppositions of science
falsely so called:" |
